Kitchen beauty tips..

Good morning/afternoon/evening!  We have all heard of  "you are what you eat". Good balanced diet is the key to your healthy skin. If you have acne prone skin, you might want to include more fish to your diet and drink lemon water. You don't necessarily need to use fancy products to get healthy glowing skin. Use what you already have. Here are some of my favorites skin care tricks that makes me feel pampered. My skin feels very soft, clean and fresh after I apply these masks.

Lemon - Lemon lightens and brightens the skin and hair.  You can get rid of acne scars, sun spots and uneven skin tone with the 100% natural lemon juice. Use it all over your face. Wait for 10-15 minutes and wash your face. Oily skin types can use this mask 2-3 times a week, dry skin might want to cut down to 1-2 times a week. Also, if you have dark lips use lemon juice every night before you go to sleep. This will lighten the dark lips.
Aspirin and honey mask - Lot of us have aspirin at our homes. Use about 2-3 tablets and put few drops of water on it. Add honey because the sticky texture becomes easier to apply on face. Apply generously on your face. Exfoliate gently as you apply it. Let it sit for 15 minutes. Rinse off with lukewarm water. You can use this mask about 2 times a week. This mask also helps evening your skin tone, killing dead cells and  fighting your acne.
Egg mask - Good for summer because we tend to get oily skin. Separate white yolk and beat it. Apply it on your face and let it sit for 15 minutes. Rinse off with lukewarm water. This mask  also lightens and brightens your skin. It tightens the skin. It is very good for treating oily skin. You can use this mask once a  week.
There are much more kitchen beauty tips out there which have been used for past 100 years. They are quick and affordable . What are your favorites?
