Are you taking your supplements?

I have to restock on my supplements as I am out. So, I thought I would talk about necessary vitamins and supplements.  No matter how healthy our diets are, our body might still be deficient of some important minerals and vitamins. So it is very important to take necessary vitamins and supplements to fill that void. Personally, it has not been long that I started to take my supplements seriously. Few years back, I bought fish oil and didn’t even finish a bottle. Now that I am 20 something, I want to be serious about my skin, hair, and overall health.  I found some recommended supplements that women need to take to benefit the overall health.

Vitamin A- It acts as antioxidants, hence slows the aging process. It improves vision.
Vitamin C- It helps your immune system, aid in preventing cancer among other health conditions. Also has antioxidant.
Vitamin E- It is an antioxidant supplement that benefits heart health and aid in preventing cancer.
Biotin- It mainly promotes healthy hair, skin and nails. 

There are so many other supplements that you can take depending on your age and so forth.  I also found out that not all women require same supplements. So it is always wise to consult a doctor and find out what supplements your body needs. Green tea is also a very good supplement. It burns calories, cuts fat, aids in preventing cancer. If you don’t like green tea, you can always opt for capsules. According to women’s health, the best vitamins for women are : vitamin A, B vitamins, vitamin C, Folic acid, Vitamin E, iron, +vitamin K, +vitamin D, +calcium, and +Magnesium.

As for me, I take garlic, hair skin and nails formula (this has vitamin A, C, D, E, biotin and other good stuff) and aloe vera . What do you take?
