Cover girl lash blast- Does it live up to its hype?

I recently bought the much discussed, much loved mascara, the cover girl lash blast. It is every blogger’s best. I have heard so much about this mascara that I thought I would give it a try. I am not the kind of person who tries new mascaras. But I ran out of my L’Oreal mascara and I thought of buying this mascara. Mascara for me is the ultimate of makeup. I think it makes such a difference. If you have been reading my blog, you would know I only recently started getting into makeup. Before, I would only wear mascara. The mascara I have used before are the L’Oreal voluminous mascara, Maybelline define-a-lash-lengthening mascara, Mac zoom lash mascara and may be a few other that I don’t remember.

 

L'Oreal voluminous mascara was nice but I found the application a bit messy. The consistency of the mascara is very thick so it can get clumpy sometimes. But if you apply it very carefully, it thickens your lashes and makes it appear fuller.

 

Mac zoom lash mascara was ok for me. It wasn’t better than drugstore mascara. It takes long time to dry. I wasn’t impressed by it. It smudges if not applied carefully.

 

I really liked maybelline mascara; it has very thin bristles and it separates all the lashes. I found cover girl lash blast a bit similar to maybelline define-a-lash lengthening mascara. Both define each and every lash that you have.

 

The cover girl lash blast might be awkward to use at first because the applicator is really big. The bristles are very thin, so they can get to all your lashes and separate them. After which, all your lashes shows up, even the tiny ones. This also dries off quickly and does not tend to be messy. It also works perfectly for lower lashes because it separates them all. So I guess I like this mascara. I am still getting used to it. I have just used it a few times. I got it at k-mart for 9 USD.
