winter is here!

Hi everyone. How are you guys doing? I have been very uninspired lately. Winter is officially here. It was rumored to snow yesterday but it didn’t. But it was very cold, turn-on-the-heater-cold!

The pictures were taken with our small digital camera, so the quality is not the best. I am wearing a jacket that I got couple of years ago from Nepal. It was ready-made and fitted me perfectly. It is stretchable material. This was my first time wearing it. I had hard time styling it. I still don't think I styled them properly. I had to wear something warm and long sleeve inside because of the cold weather. Let me know what you think.

poncho style

The first thing that attracted me to this top was its unique style. Frankly, I don’t know what it’s exactly called. It is like poncho type top. I was hesitant at first because it just looked huge and was of spandex material. And then, I saw the back detail and fell in love. The top is pretty roomy and shapeless, so I tucked in the front part.

black and white

My mom got this sweater for me couple of years ago from Nepal. I love the color white. I feel like white outfit makes you look clean and fresh. I love the little sequins detail on this sweater. The only con is the fitting; I wish it was a little loose on me. I love the look of leggings or tights. But, I hate putting it on. My nails keep on scratching the fabric and I get so irritated. Does this happen to you? 

I just noticed that all the pictures have my tea mug/bottle. We went to this beautiful lake to take pictures and it was cold. I had taken my tea with me. And apparently, decided to include it in photos!!

How are you guys doing? I am having a pretty lazy day. It is cloudy outside, its been raining on and off. The days are getting extremely cold and windy. Winter is not very far. Snow must me its half way! I actually do like snowy/rainy/cloudy day. Basically, I love depressing days. I mean, I am not very outgoing. Like, I love staying home. I am pretty boring in that sense.

full moon!

How are you guys doing? Random question, is it full moon today? I think so, you will think so too after seeing my pictures. The days have become shorter. I actually got my pictures taken in early evening but it was already getting dark.

I don't know if I like today's outfit. But I wanted to give a try on biker chic look. Found this pleather jacket last spring and there was only one piece left. I would have preferred black color. I bought it because, it reminded me of MJ (Micheal Jackson). For feminine touch, I added big earring and soft romantic scarf. What do you guys think?

going ethnic again!

This is what I wore yesterday for the Dashain celebration. My mom got this dress for me couple of years ago from Nepal. I love that it is white and has sequins details. I was having such a  bad hair day yesterday, I just didn't know how to style them. So, I went with a boring pony tail. Hope you enjoy this short post. 

scarf it!

I love scarves. They are super stylish and add certain amount of excitement to the outfit. This 100% silk scarf is so special to me. It is my dad’s, it is very old (more than 10 years). I remember he had two of these with different prints ofcourse. I think he got these from Hongkong. It is so cute, I love it!

maxi again!

Went to the last bbq of the year yesterday. We called it the last bbq because winter is just around the corner here. The weather was mid seventy(fahrenheit), but it was very windy. So, it was a bit cold. I know, for some of you 70 is like super cold but for us North Dakotans, 70 is like 90. Nonetheless, it was a fun day. Although, it got dark at about 7pm, we still went strong till 9pm.

I love shopping for summer clothing in fall, because they are sold with major discounts. I love this maxi. It is so roomy and super comfortable. It has lovely prints. It is made in India and I believe is 100% cotton. And, it fits me perfectly.
