I have always admired women with pixie hair cut. This year..it seems a lot of celebrities cut their hair short. That only added to the fuel. I have had long hair for about three years now and I was getting really tired of them. With a little push from my man, I finally chopped it off. He said it is just hair and if I want it badly, I should just do it.
I told my hairdresser I wanted something soft and feminine. A little longer at the front, shorter at the back. I said no spikes.
How do I feel? I feel AMAZING. I feel so proud of myself. I feel LIBERATED. I feel clean and light. I feel beautiful and feminine. Even if I feel this way for a day, it is so worth it ! Ladies, if you are someone who has been thinking about getting a pixie and are afraid and confused..let me be you push and JUST DO IT ! It's just hair, it will grow back. In the meantime, you will feel like a different person and will experience a whole new emotions.
Of course, I am still playing around with my hair to see how/what looks best on me. On these photos, I put some hair mousse after shower and just made a side part. My hair is very wavy and thick. My man has been calling me Bruce Lee. I am taking that as a compliment. :-)
